  My wife walked in the shop to buy the advertised electric trolley advertised in a golfing paper for £189.99. But the salesman talked her into buying the more expensive trolley the £299.99, as the battery is much lighter and easier to carry in and out. We accepted this argument and decided to buy the one with the lighter battery, we were chatting and he asked where do we golf and we stated that we live in Northamptonshire and we are in the area just for a visit.My wife paid for the £299.99 trolley and he asked me to bring my car round and he will bring the new trolley from the store. He loaded it in to the car and off we went on our way. Four days later when we were back home, we opened the box and tried to assemble the trolley and got the battery out and that when we realised that the battery was treble the size of the one on display. We immediately phoned him up and said that the wrong battery was in the box. He said no the smaller battery comes with the trolley that is double the price. We tried to argue that we were led to believe that the one we bought and he placed in the car was the same as the one on display, and when we asked if we can have our money back even if it means that I do the nearly 400 mile round journey or post it back but he would not give cash back and said he would only exchange. I told him that I would never ever buy any thing from him again as he was and I am putting this very politely misleading shoppers and an opportunist. My mistake is that I took his word as a gentleman where I should have insisted on opening the box and check the contents.
